We are thrilled to continue our support of the Center for the Arts, Port au Prince, Haiti, with this special edition - The Ayiti Journal of which $5.00 of the sale will go directly to the Center for the Arts.
"Ayiti" means Haiti in Creole and we feel symbolizes the ongoing strength, pride and resilience of a nation tired of racism, environmental tragedy and corruption.
If we can help in our own small way to empower a few, we feel then that others will be inspired to do the same.
The Center for the Arts, Port au Prince is a place for young women in Haiti to learn about the arts, become empowered through the arts and to generate income through their activities in the arts. They are a nonprofit, non-governmental organization (NGO)
